Warehousing and Transloading

There are two sides to warehousing and transloading. There is the development process and operations. We handle both! To summarize the warehouse development process, it involves identifying a suitable location, designing the warehouse, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, raising capital, breaking ground, closely monitoring construction progress, conducting a thorough inspection, and providing ongoing support to clients during the transition.

Warehouse and transload operations include inventory management, picking and packing, loading and unloading, cross-docking, distribution and transportation coordination, value-added services, climate control, and security measures to ensure the safety and protection of stored goods.

First, we start by identifying a suitable location for the warehouse. This includes considering the accessibility of the site, the availability of utilities, and the zoning regulations in the area.

Once we have identified a suitable location, we will work with our team of architects and engineers to design the warehouse. Our designs prioritize functionality, efficiency, and sustainability. We also work with our clients to ensure that the warehouse meets their specific needs and requirements.

After the design is finalized, we obtain the necessary permits and approvals from the relevant authorities. This includes obtaining building permits, environmental permits, and other necessary approvals.

Capitalization -> prior to starting construction, we’ll need to go raise debt and additional equity. We have created great relationships over the past 17+ years that line up to pursue future opportunities.

Next, we break ground and begin construction. Throughout the construction process, we closely monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track and within budget. We also work closely with our contractors and subcontractors to ensure that they meet our high standards for quality.

Finally, once the construction is complete, we conduct a thorough inspection of the warehouse to ensure that it meets all building codes and safety standards. We also work with our clients to build out the TI (tenant improvement – office or any other specific needs of the tenant) and ensure a smooth transition while providing ongoing support as needed.
